Terms of Use
Additional to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement
Last updated: 13 September 2026 · Effective: 13 September 2026
The licence for this app is Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. It is the agreement you accept when you download the app, and it governs the licence itself — what you may do with the app, warranties, and Apple's role. Read Apple's Standard EULA →
The terms below are additional, and cover matters Apple's agreement doesn't: how subscriptions are billed, what the conversion tools can and cannot promise, and what you agree to use the app for. Where anything here conflicts with Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's agreement wins.
1. Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid subscription. The following applies to every subscription purchased through the App:
- Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
- The price and billing period are shown in the App before you confirm, in your local currency. Prices vary by region and may be adjusted over time; you will always see the current price before purchasing, and any increase to an existing subscription requires your consent in line with App Store rules.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. Unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews and your account is charged for another period.
- Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price for the plan.
- You can manage and cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not end the period you have already paid for.
- Changing plans takes effect according to App Store rules — an upgrade generally applies immediately, a downgrade at the start of the next period.
- Payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; requests should be made through Apple's refund page. Except where required by law, amounts already paid are non-refundable.
- No free trial is offered. Each plan is charged immediately at purchase.
- Billing, refunds and cancellation are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, which apply alongside Apple's Standard EULA.
2. Free allowance
The App includes a limited number of free operations so you can try it before subscribing, and its file-management features remain available without a subscription. The size of that allowance, and which features are included, may change in future versions.
3. Acceptable use
You are responsible for what you do with the App. You agree to use it only with files you own or have the right to process, and not to use it for anything unlawful, or in breach of anyone's copyright, privacy, or other rights. Do not use the App to process material you are not permitted to copy, or to remove technical protection measures from a protected file.
4. Your files
Your files are yours. The App processes them on your device and does not transmit them anywhere; no ownership or licence over your content is claimed. You alone are responsible for keeping backups. Converting or compressing a file produces a new file — always keep the original until you are satisfied with the result.
5. Availability and changes
The App may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time. Features may be added or removed, and support for a device or operating system version may end. Nothing here guarantees that a particular feature will remain available indefinitely.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
In particular, no warranty is given that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a given conversion will preserve the exact appearance, layout, fonts, formatting, metadata, or quality of the original. Converting between formats is inherently lossy in places — text extracted from a PDF may be laid out differently, and compression reduces quality by design. Keep the original file.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and you may have statutory rights that these Terms cannot limit.
7. Limitation of liability
This section applies in addition to the limits in Apple's Standard EULA. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the provider will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the App — even if advised that such damages were possible.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the App and its subscriptions in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ten US dollars.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the provider harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these additional terms, your misuse of the App, or your violation of any law or of the rights of a third party.
9. Changes to these terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use the App after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the App and cancel any subscription.
